Cancellation Policy

Full Refund – 24 Hours Notice: We offer a full refund for cancellations made at least 24 hours before your scheduled tour departure time.

Refund Timelines by Cancellation Date:

  • More than 24 hours before departure: 100% refund of all payments
  • Less than 24 hours before departure: No refund – payment is non-refundable
  • No-show (not present at tour departure): No refund – full payment is forfeited

Non-Refundable Services

The following services and situations are non-refundable:

  • Tours not utilized after departure
  • Services or portions of tours cancelled by the guest after the tour has commenced
  • No-shows on tour departure date
  • Transfers or tours missed due to guest lateness or absence
  • Optional activities not completed or cancelled by the guest
  • Unused portions of multi-day tour packages after commencement

Special Circumstances

Weather and Environmental Conditions

Mae Tours Seychelles reserves the right to reschedule or cancel tours due to severe weather, rough seas, or unsafe conditions beyond our control. In such cases:

  • We will offer you an alternative tour date at no additional cost
  • A full refund will be issued if no suitable alternative date is available
  • Refunds will be processed within 14 days of cancellation

Minimum Group Requirements

Some tours require a minimum number of participants. If a tour is cancelled due to insufficient bookings, we will:

  • Notify you at least 7 days before the tour date
  • Offer an alternative tour date or private charter option
  • Provide a full refund if no suitable alternative is available

Refund Processing

Once your cancellation request is received and approved:

  • Refunds will be processed within 7-14 business days
  • The refund will be returned to the original payment method used for booking
  • Bank fees or processing charges may apply depending on your payment method
  • International transfers may take additional time depending on your financial institution

Modifications and Changes

Date or Time Changes: Changes made 24 hours or more in advance may be accommodated based on availability at no additional cost. Changes made less than 24 hours before your tour departure are subject to availability and may incur additional fees. Contact us as early as possible if you need to reschedule a Seychelles tour.

Tour Operator Cancellations

In the rare event that Mae Tours Seychelles must cancel a tour for operational reasons:

  • We will provide prompt notification and arrange an alternative date
  • A full refund will be offered if no suitable alternative exists
  • Any additional costs incurred as a result of our cancellation will be covered by Mae Tours Seychelles

Travel Insurance Recommendation

We strongly recommend purchasing comprehensive travel insurance that includes trip cancellation coverage. Travel insurance can protect you against unforeseen circumstances such as illness, family emergencies, or other events that may force you to cancel your tour.

Terms and Conditions

  • All bookings constitute a binding contract between you and Mae Tours Seychelles
  • Tours operate on a fixed schedule; guests must arrive at least 10-15 minutes before departure
  • Mae Tours Seychelles is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged personal belongings during tours
  • All guests participate in tours at their own risk and assume responsibility for any injuries
  • Tours may include age, health, or fitness restrictions for safety reasons
  • Applicable laws of the Republic of Seychelles govern all bookings and tours
